Privacy Policy

DaDesktop is committed to protecting the personal information of everyone who uses our services. This document outlines our approach to gathering and handling your personal data, along with the safeguards we have implemented to keep it secure.

We only gather and use personal information when it is strictly required to deliver our services, or for the lawful purposes described in this privacy policy. Crucially, the way data is gathered and kept varies significantly based on the chosen hosting setup.

NobleProg hosted public server

This operates from a NobleProg data centre (based in the EU and compliant with GDPR). It serves as a shared environment for NobleProg customers and may be accessed by NobleProg staff.

Should you opt for a server situated outside the EU, local regulations may come into effect. Data relating to customers in the UK is kept within the United Kingdom.

NobleProg hosted private server

This server runs within a NobleProg data centre (inside the EU). It is a dedicated machine assigned exclusively to one organisation; no other entity will use its hardware.

If you select a server located outside the EU, the relevant local legislation may be applicable.

On premise server

The server is placed directly at the organisation’s own site. The necessary software is installed on the server, and the organisation retains full control over all data at all times.

Data categories

The types of data we gather fall into these categories:

User account / personal data

Shared server

Private server

On-premise server

  • Accessing DaDesktop requires you to set up an account.
  • During account registration, you will give us some personal details like your name, email address, username, and a password.
  • We gather this information because it is essential for granting you access to our services and for upholding the security of our platform.
  • We might use your information to send you communications related to your account.
  • We keep your account information for the duration your account remains active.
  • You are free to close your account whenever you wish, and if you do, we will delete your account data.

  • The client can decide whether to handle user administration independently or ask NobleProg to manage the users.
  • It is possible to encrypt the server so that NobleProg has absolutely no access.
  • No information is gathered or stored.
  • NobleProg has no way to access it.

Training Room Data (including cloud desktop activity and chat function)

Shared server

Private server

On-premise server

  • All actions inside the Training Room are potentially visible to the course instructor, training management, and our technical support team.
  • This visibility allows us to properly assign data resources, offer support when problems arise, enable the instructor and management to follow course progress, and verify adherence to our Terms of Service.
  • Our terms of use explicitly forbid users from carrying out any personal business, such as checking social media, performing financial transactions, or doing personal web browsing.
  • Once a course is marked as ‘finished’, this data is erased.

  • All information that is gathered and stored is under the client’s control.

  • NobleProg has no way to access it.

Video / Audio Data

Shared server

Private server

On-premise server

  • DaDesktop may include a built-in audio/video function.
  • This functionality runs on NobleProg’s own infrastructure, not a third-party application.
  • Course Desktops (Fresh-start, Trainer, and Participants) might be recorded for diagnostic reasons. Audio is never part of these recordings. Such screen captures are removed two weeks after the course concludes. Only NobleProg administrators holding SuperAdmin rights can view these recordings.
  • All data gathered and stored is managed by the client.
  • When needed, Course Desktops and recordings can be made for troubleshooting and similar reasons (refer to the Shared Server section). These recordings fall under the client's responsibility and, due to an automatic deletion schedule, are purged after 14 days.
  • No information is gathered or stored.
  • NobleProg has no way to access it.

Record Feature

Shared server

Private server

On-premise server

  • Clients can opt to capture the course desktop.
  • When the recording function is activated, NobleProg holds the saved file and it can be watched. The account holder gets to decide when it is erased.
  • Cancelling an account leads to the deletion of any associated recordings.

  • Clients can opt to capture the course desktop.
  • Any information gathered or stored is fully managed by the client.
  • NobleProg has no way to access it.

Technical Support

When you reach out for technical support, you must share some personal information, which could include your name, employer, email, phone number, time zone, and the reason for your request. We use this support information solely to resolve your issue and to gain insight into the common challenges our users face. All technical support is handled internally by NobleProg.
